Invented example. The Corner Store is not a real business. The questions and answers show how SourceKB works; this page shows no made-up results.
The Corner Store sells linen, stoneware, plants and small gifts from a shop in the old town. Two owners run it with a part-time assistant on Saturdays.
Their website already has a product catalogue, opening hours, a returns policy and a contact page. Even so, most people phone or send a message before they come in, and the questions are nearly always the same.
By phone, by email and at the counter, in their customers’ own words.
Content they already had. Nothing new was written for the assistant.
Address, hours and how to reach the shop.
Linen, stoneware and plant care, with colours and sizes.
The 30-day returns policy, word for word.
What the shop offers at the counter and by post.
The Corner Store checked and approved each answer before any visitor saw it. Here are a few.
Yes. Unused items can be returned within 30 days with the receipt. Our Returns page explains how.
Yes, gift-wrapping is free in the shop. Ask at the counter when you pay.
Our linen throws come in sand, sage and charcoal. Stock changes daily, so check the product page before you visit.
The limits matter as much as the answers.
It never says an item is in stock right now. “Is the green vase still available?” gets pointed to the product page or the shop’s phone number.
It doesn’t take orders, reserve items or handle payment. The online shop and the counter do that.
It doesn’t ask for names, emails or phone numbers in the chat.
A question with no approved answer gets an honest “I don’t have that” and the contact form, with the question already filled in.
If most of these sound familiar, SourceKB is likely a good fit.
